To do this, she had to:

Complete a DTM (Effective Coaching requirements, Advanced Leader Silver (ALS) and Leadership Excellence requirements)

Also contributing to the recognition are Joy’s years of service as a coach and mentor as well as serving in TM positions at the division and area levels.

Always a straight shooter, Joy says: "The (award) letter includes encouragement to embrace the Pathways program ... for continued success in self-development. Even though Pathways can sometimes feel more like wrestling than embracing, take on the challenge! Onward! In only 30 years, you, too, might earn your DTM!"

Amador Valley Toastmasters - We achieved Distinguished Toastmasters Club for 2018/2019. How did we succeed? Gaining lots of great new members and completing many education awards. Yay AVTM!!!

Vijay said, "Earning my DTM was a challenging, but most rewarding journey! To the one and only AVTM, without all your support, feedback and constant encouragement this would have been simply impossible! You all made this a fun and rewarding journey!"
